I love to laugh, I love everything sports, I love learning new things, I love traveling, I love family and friends, I love St. Philip. I have been privileged to serve with this great community of faith since the year 2000. Pride may be sinful, but I unabashedly confess I am proud of the church we are together. I am always excited about what new thing God is doing with us and cannot wait to see what God has in store for us today. Search me out so we can discover today’s joy together.

I grew up in Abingdon, and I’ve lived in the New River Valley and been an educator and musician for most of my life. I attended and have worked for both Virginia Tech and Radford University. I enjoy making music with others, being outdoors, gardening, exploring life, spending time with family and friends, and learning just about anything. I joined the St Philip community in October 2025, and I am excited about our journey together as a family of faith.

I grew up in beautiful Salem, Virginia. I graduated Salem High School and Radford University; currently, I live right here in Hollins. In my free time, I love making music. I am a singer and a songwriter– writing poetry and music is how I feel closest to the Lord and most connected to my joy. I also love dancing with hula hoops and reading books about astrophysics. I am grateful and excited to be serving St. Philip and our church neighborhood!
