A very special thanks to all the members of St. Philip who participated in the last blood drive on October 15, 2007, either by donating their blood, by volunteering their time to help, or by providing the abundance of food which all the donors enjoyed. There were 137 donors presenting with 111 units of blood collected. There were 22 deferrals, mostly due to low iron. We may need a nutrition class before our next bloodmobile. Forty-five of those donors presenting were St. Philip members. Good work St. Philip.
It feels good to save a life.
