Worship

We offer two worship services from September through May: 8:30 and 11:00. The 8:30 service uses a contemporary setting of the liturgy. The 11:00 service is a setting from the LBW.

Altar Choir

  • Altar Choir is open to anyone who enjoys singing
  • Ages 16 – 106
  • No auditions
  • Open to church members and non- church members
  • Rehearsals Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.

·         The Altar Choir generally offers an anthem each Sunday at the 8:30 and 11:00 service.  We also offer solos, duets and trios during the year.

Following the tradition of Martin Luther, music is a very important part of worship. We emphasize the Word in the sung liturgy and hymns. We remember God’s love and grace so freely given through the risen Christ.

Preschool Choir

St. Philip Preschool consists of children ages 3-5. We meet twice each week and sing as able.
